DDG and Robeko develop AI-based sales solution for industrial plant engineering

Together with our co-innovation partner Robeko GmbH & Co. KG, we are currently developping a sales-tool based on artificial intelligence.

Robeko is a medium-sized high-tech company based in Mehlingen. It is specialized in thin layer systems and solutions for the vacuum coating industry. The product range includes hardware components, such as all types of magnetron sputter sources and plasma power supplies, as well as materials and services. Robeko does not supply its customers with standard solutions, but with components and materials specially adapted to the respective process and offers them a full service around the coating process.

The new, intelligent tool is designed to support the sales force in customer meetings by providing Robeko’s highly complex expertise. Above all, this also helps the customers to understand the individual solutions and the advantages of the systems more easily and faster.

“In developing this AI-based sales tool, the focus is clearly on the profit-making application for Robeko”, explains Alexander Fridhi, CEO of DDG GmbH.

The funding requested for the project has already been approved.
