Hotels receive many standard requests for rooms, services, and offers daily. Our partner, the design hotel Cult in Frankfurt am Main, wants to benefit from the latest developments in AI and support the reception staff in standard communication with guests.

Still, the personal touch should not be lost since the hotel puts a lot of effort into providing an individual style. The goal is to achieve a mix of quick accessibility, rapid requests, and a personal approach for guests.

Our Solution

Together, we are developing a digital concierge for the hotel sector that will reduce the workload of hotel employees. In doing so, we use technology within the field of “Natural Language Processing” (NLP). The first step is collecting and preparing training data for artificial intelligence, such as e-mails.

Afterward, the AI is trained to accurately understand and respond to standard queries. We are also planning to implement an interface to the hotel’s own programs and booking systems later in the project.

The digital concierge relieves hotel staff from constantly answering the exact requests. Instead, they can focus on more complex requests or spend their time on personalized guest service.

By combining the personal touch of the employee with the digital concierge, the hotel stays true to its signature style. The AI project also allows our partner to become a digital pioneer in the sector.
